Zach on "Cavs" court

Zach's team was invited to play b-ball on Lebron's floor aka The "Q" - Cleveland Cavaliers.

Zach is #6 (see his back side below).

Here is Zach playing and he's so serious.

Zach and Jim stayed for the Cavs game.

Zach was chosen to be a "courtside kid". So, they gave him a bunch of stuff and a disposable camera to take pictures of Lebron and team during warm ups.

Here is a picture of the boys with some of their stuff from the game. Zach is tired because it was around 11.30 p.m. when they finally got home after being at the "Q" downtown since 1 p.m.

The Cavs won.....Go Cavs!

In hopes from "sweet angels" that Santa would be.....

They'd been silly and goofy and crazy for sure.....

But, Santa still came and in a very quick blur....

Trick or Treat?

Tricks and too many treats!!

Madi and Zach got their bounty and their booty of treats as "pirates"!

Darth Vader aka Jim was suppose to pass out candy but ended up scaring many of the kids and had to take off his talking mask as they were running away to get them to come back! I took the pirate twins around the 'hood and the weather was great.

And finally we are back home with more candy than we'll ever need!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

It's actually suppose to be warm here near Cleveland.....around 60 for our "trick" or "treat"! Woo-hoo! Great compared to the 2-3 inches of SNOW we received on Wednesday. It all melted already. Most of the dads in the 'hood are getting together and taking the kids out for treating tomorrow (along with their wagon of beer).....those kids will be out a while!

Below is a pic of me and some pirate.....Jim and I attended a Halloween Party this year and we were "pirates" and apparently it's a family theme.....Madi will be "Elizabeth" from Pirates of the Caribbean and Zach will be the ghost pirate "Captain Zach Sparrow".

We'll definitely have to post our kid pirate pics after Halloween!

Well, Madi and Zach just finished soccer for the fall season.....below is a pic of them with their soccer trophies....they have so many trophies I told them they were going to have give some away! Perhaps that's why they are making these faces.....no, actually this the way they are all the time.

Zach also just finished up with football for the season.....here is a video of him playing quarterback aka "Drew Brees".....nice completion! (Those Purdue alums are great:)

And here are the SAINTS listening attentively to Coach Jimmy and playing on the actual Tiger HS field! (Zach is #80) I think the temp was about 40 and here is Zach in shorts because he said he would get too sweaty in sweats!

We love our animals and we wanted to add pics since some have not met them yet!

Here is our first baby.....Kobe.....isn't he sweet! Kobe is 11 years old and going strong! (no comments Jim.....)

Here is a great picture of Madi and Nala.....we rescued Nala in November '05 for Jim's birthday :) What a great present!

Nala loves to take pictures as you can tell.....

And last but certainly not least......"Max"!! He really didn't want to be in any pictures either :)

Max acts like a dog when he thinks he'll get something out of it. We've taught him to "sit" and to "beg"!

Soccer, Football and Soccer again!

We have been so busy settling in and running to soccer or football or soccer again.

This is a picture of Zach warming up to play goalie!

And now we have flag football.....Zach in action (he is in black for the "Saints" with the light blue under eye patches). Zach is still upset that he can't play "tackle" this year....every year he misses because we have moved so next year he is guaranteed to play!

And here is Coach Jim.......he stepped in to coach when the coach never showed at the beginning of the season.....

Madi's team was selected to play a short game during half time of the high school girls varsity soccer game (Madi is #3 in mint green....you can see the back of her and her ponytail). Go Green Clovers!

Finally settling in!!

So, here is a picture of our new home! Isn't it great?

Yeah, I wish. This is actually a picture from our vacation to the bahamas.....I wish we were back there again.....beautiful blue waters and so relaxing!

Well everything has been so hectic and happening so quickly. We can't believe it is already September and we moved already!! (For those that didn't know....we moved for new job that I couldn't turn down with Nestle in Solon, OH) and Jim can now work from home!

So after looking at hundreds of homes we finally found one. We moved into our new home last week and absolutely love it! It's such a great home (we'll have to take pics and post) and neighborhood.....we've already been to 2 block parties! Our neighborhood is terrific....we've never lived in a place like this before....the people are so friendly and welcoming.

Madi and Zach are in the 3rd grade and love their new school. Zach is playing football & soccer. Madi is playing soccer. And as for the animals.....Max was the first to adjust to the new home....the car trip here in the dark was another story! Kobe has adjusted fine though Kobe hides under the bed everyday because he doesn't want anyone to find him.....just in case we decide to move again. Nala is finally back to her normal self but still upset about the move.....she won't go to the lower level of our home, hates boxes and strangers that appear at the door....she thinks the movers might be back.

We even have had visitors already.....Nana, Popi and Steven were here to visit us! Everyone is welcome to visit...we have the space and more bathrooms then people so come on over!
